Product Review of the Day - Mary Kay® Lash Love® Waterproof Mascara

If you're not a fan of Waterproof mascara, I dare you to try this mascara. I have never had a waterproof mascara that TRULY works. I have recently gone through a divorce and death in the family and have spent hours crying. This Mascara DOES NOT smear or run!!!It is humidity, water, tear, sweat and rain proof!!!

Not only that, it has awesome mascara abilities such as strengthening and conditioning lashes with Vitamin E, which makes them feel longer and fuller over time. After a few weeks of using any of the Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara's (Regular, waterproof and lengthening), my lashes are stronger and fuller than they have ever been. My lashes are separated and full every time! I can not say enough about the Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara's. They are just AMAZING!!!

Product Review of the Day - Mary Kay® Foundation Primer Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15*

Foundation Primer is a must have in the summer months. If you want your makeup to last, then you need to apply. On top of helping it last, there is just enough SPF so you don't harm your sensitive facial skin.  This primer helps absorb oil throughout the day which is essential for humid locations. This feels like silk on your skin, its crazy. I love this stuff. I use Mineral powder and without the primer underneath, I feel like the powder just flies off my face. On top of that, it helps leave skin looking smoother which is awesome! I don't put my foundation on without it!

Product Review of the Day - TimeWise® Firming Eye Cream

Do you have bags under your eyes or dark circles? And you cant find anything to help? Well I had dark circles, not extreme, but a faint blue dark undercurrent of too much work and fun. I started using the firming eye cream and at first I didn't think much of it. But like everything new, you have to give it a week or 2. So I stuck with it applying every night before bed.

After about a week I could really tell that not only did my dark circles look less, but the puffiness around my eye had decreased. On top of that, the fine lines I was starting to get in my 30's have seemed to vanish. You only have to use a TINY amount of this so the bottle seems to last forever which is good since its $32. Also make sure not to get any in your eyes! Overall a THUMBS UP.

Product Review of the Day - Mary Kay® Skinvigorate™ Cleansing Brush

Skinvigorate™ Cleansing Brush

I never knew I needed a brush to wash my face until I tried this. Most people, like myself, buy a facial cleanser and use with their bare hands and think this is pretty good. Its not soap and water right? Well once you use a cleansing brush to scrub your face, you will realize that you weren't really getting all the dirt and makeup off like you thought you were. That being said, I am a new advocate for using a cleansing brush. For $50, the Mary Kay Skinvigorate brush offers a lot against the competition. It has 2 settings, not just 1, so you can use the faster setting on areas like your forehead and nose and the softer setting on sensitive areas. The brush head is super soft for nylon bristles and exfoliates without being abrasive. Its completely waterproof. I use rechargeable batteries and they last a long time. After 1 use, I could truly feel my skin was cleaner than when I use my hands alone. After a few weeks I noticed less breakouts, my pores appeared smaller and even my wrinkles looked smaller. Also, it seems that my makeup stays on a little better. I would definately recommend you use a cleansing brush at least once a day (preferrably morning and night) and for the price, this brush performs as well as the much pricier ones.

Product Review of the Day - Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus® Lip Gloss

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Lip Gloss. The #1 color has sparkle in it (Fancy
Nancy) but others don't. Cafe Au Lait is a non shimmer
similar to Fancy Nancy. Not only do they make your lips shine like any
good gloss should, but they give them moisture so even after the gloss
has come off, your lips feel soft. I believe antioxidants and other
nutrients are the source of this. Whatever the reason, I love it. If
you're not a big gloss fan, try the matte colors.

Product Review of the Day - Mary Kay® Subtle Tanning Lotion

Its the start of the summer season and that means white legs and bodies will be everywhere. If you're like me, you don't want to leave the house in capri's or shorts without some color. But how do you get a safe tan when its not warm enough outside? Self Tanner of course.

I've tried a lot of self tanners in the past. I have sensitive skin so products with Hemp in them give me a rash, no good. Other store products have smelled so strong, I couldn't wear during the day and barely could stand for bed. Yet other products made me look like a carrot. Don't get me wrong, I love carrots, but I don't want to look like one. So before I tried this product, I had a preconceived notion that this self tanner would be the same.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! Not only was the smell minimal enough that I could wear during the day if I wanted, but it dried pretty quickly so I could get dressed. There seems to be no streaking or orange color after a week. Also it feels like you are just putting lotion on your body, which after the winter, I need! I didn't have any skin allergy reactions to this product. The only down side is that it doesn't tan as quick as some of them, took a full week before I really noticed. However, for all the other benefits, the wait is worth it!
